Kody Tang wins the 1st prize in the recently concluded Ossia Music Competition 2012! (Open Piano category) He was the only competitor in this category to have played from memory. Just last year, at the same competition, after having fractured his ring finger and was out of action for a few weeks in between the preliminary and the final rounds, he still managed to clinch the 3rd prize. His tenacity to improve his performance this year is indeed admirable. He performed the Rachmaninov Prelude Op. 3 No. 2 in the finals (set piece). Many congratulations Kody! We are proud of you!
