Diploma Piano: ABRSM diplomas and Trinity-Guildhall diplomas.
This course typically takes one and the half years to two years to complete, depending on the level of the diploma / student's aptitude. There are ATCL - LTCL - FTCL in progressive order. And similarly for the ABRSM: DipABRSM - LRSM -FRSM.
Diploma Theory: Trinity-Guildhall and London College
This course is an extension to the Grade 8 theory. It is suitable for those who are interested in knowing more about harmony, analysis of works and essay writing
Graded Piano: ABRSM Grades 1 - 8
This is a graded course with additional emphasis on scales, aural and sight-reading. Students at our school normally take only Grades 2, 4, 6, 8 in alternate years. This enables us to explore the wide range of piano repertoire as well as to improve students' technique and address any weakness that may have encountered in previous exams.
Theory is included in the practical lesson up to Grade 5 Practical. Higher theory will be taught as a separate subject.
Graded Theory: ABRSM Grades 6 - 8
Higher grade theory may be conducted either on individual or group basis.
Piano For Leisure
This course is a non-exam course and is suitable for adults not intending to take exam, and would like to be equipped with basic music technique to enable one to enjoy playing simple popular tunes.
